The flash cards arrived promptly and were very well packaged. Along with the cards there was also a very useful and informative card about the benefits of black and white images for babies.
In the box there are 12 black and white flash cards of African animals. On one side of the card there is a beautiful black and white illustration of the animal. On the reverse of the card is a fun fact about the animal along with an activity making these cards suitable from birth to school age. Emilia-Rose was extremely eager to have a look at the flash cards and was continuously drawn to the black and white illustrated box. Once opened we payed the cards out in the table for Emilia-Rose to look at. I have never seen African animal flash cards and they were really refreshing and inviting.
Emilia-Rose is very good with the names of zoo animals and although she knew a few names I loved the fact that these cards engaged her by being that little bit different. The flash cards are a firm favourite in our house with both girls. The girls love to look at the different animals and will ask me to read the information in the back to them. The box and cards are of a really high quality and would make an amazing present that would grow with the child from birth.
