Meet our Guest Contributors

With two young boys there are a number of areas relating to being a mum that I am able to share based on my own personal experience, but I want the ‘Dotty Journal’ to be much more than just my life experiences and journey through motherhood.

A Little Bit Dotty is about helping mums with gifts that will stimulate, soothe, relax and calm, just to name a few but in order to navigate the journey we also need information, resources, support and to know it’s not just us going through that particular ‘PHASE’.

So, from time to time I will be inviting guest contributors to share their professional insight on a number of topics such as baby massage, sleep regression, toddler tantrums, fussy eaters, how to take time out for yourself etc.

If you would like to be a guest contributor or you know someone else that might be interested, please do get in touch via email hello@alittlebitdotty.co.uk.

Say hello to our contributors below:

Jo Roberts is an Independent Early Years Practitioner.

Jo set up The Baby & Co in November 2019 after ten years of working within Children’s/Family Centres. Her role during that time specialised in the Under 1’s and I was fortunate enough to be trained in a variety of areas, including how to teach baby massage. Jo is also UNICEF, BFI Level 3 Breastfeeding trained and was awarded the BFI (Baby Friendly Initiative) Champion of the year in 2018.

Her experience and training allows her to offer families a number of parenting courses including:

  • Antenatal My Baby’s Brain
  • Antenatal breastfeeding
  • Preparing for baby
  • Breastfeeding support
  • My Baby’s Brain
  • Introduction to solids
  • Sleep advice
  • Speech and language
  • Oral health
  • Potty training
  • Behaviour issues
  • SongTime – Interactive music and singing sessions
